Install your eSIM

Install your eSIM before departure, using Wi-Fi. Validity starts upon first connection in a covered country.

  1. 1Open Settings › Mobile Data › Add eSIM.
  2. 2Choose "Use QR Code" and scan the QR code of your order. No second screen? Tap "Enter Details Manually" and paste the activation code.
  3. 3Name the new line "Travel".
  4. 4Upon arrival, choose "Travel" for mobile data and enable data roaming on this line.
  5. 5Your regular line remains active for calls and texts. Disable its data roaming.

Install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi before you leave. Do not delete it afterwards: the QR code is usually used only once.

Yes, coverage relies on the local mobile networks of World. Very remote areas may have less reliable service.

Can I continue to receive my usual SMS while traveling in World?
